US: CEDC posts Q2 results and announces placement

The US-based European drinks distributor, Central European Distribution Corporation (CEDC), posted net income for the second quarter of 2005 of US$5.6m, or US$0.33 per fully diluted share, up from US$4.5m, or US$0.28 per share, in the corresponding period in 2004.
