Soft drinks bottler Coca-Cola Enterprises (CCE) has announced the appointment of Julius Pryor III as vice president of global diversity, with effect from 20 September, 2007.

In this role, Pryor will oversee the company's diversity initiatives, reporting to Vicki R. Palmer, executive vice president, financial services and administration.

"Julius' extensive experience directing global diversity strategies and programmes will help Coca-Cola Enterprises establish a winning and inclusive culture," said president and CEO John F. Brock. "His leadership and expertise will enhance our company's ability to attract, develop and retain a highly talented and diverse workforce, and we are very excited to have him join our team."

A former US Navy captain, Pryor was previously vice president of global diversity for Johnson & Johnson's Consumer Group, and previously served as director of diversity for Johnson & Johnson's North American Consumer & Personal Care Group.
