US: C&C appoints head for US control states

C&C International USA has appointed a regional director for the country's control states.

Robert Diers will assume the position from 2 April, the C&C Group unit said today (30 March).

Diers joins the company from Luxco where he was north-west division manager. Prior to this, he held the equivalent position at Future Brands' Peak Wines subsidiary.

Diers is also this year's president of the Distillery Representatives Association of Washington.

"I'm looking forward to Bob's positive contribution to the C & C International portfolio," said Alan Lewis, senior vice president-general manager at the unit.

C&C International is the owner, manufacturer and marketer of brands including Tullamore Dew Irish Whiskey, Carolans Irish Cream and Frangelico Original Hazelnut Liqueur.
