Carlsberg UK has invested GBP10m in a new bottling line at its Leeds brewery.
The facility was opened on Friday (7 October) by The Lord Mayor of Leeds.
The bottling line is part of Carlsberg UK's GBP23m investment in its Leeds brewery and has the capacity to produce 60,000 bottles per hour. It has created new jobs at the brewery, increasing its workforce by 24.
Ian Smith, head brewer at Leeds said: "There has been a brewery in the heart of Leeds for over 175 years.  This significant investment by Carlsberg UK highlights the importance that we place on our business and heritage here in Leeds."
