MALAYSIA: Carlsberg focuses efforts on Asian expansion

Carlsberg's Malaysian subsidiary, Carlsberg Malaysia Bhd, is to pump RM60m ($15.7m) into expanding capacity to meet demand, after achieving impressive sales growth this year. Speaking at a media briefing yesterday managing director Datuk Jorgen Bornhoft said that Carlsberg now controls 65% of the local beer market and 12% of the stout market.
