Capri-Sun's tie-up with Minions marks the brand's largest marketing campaign

Capri-Sun has launched the largest global campaign for its namesake pouched juice brand, partnering with the film Minions.

The German company, whose juice is produced and distributed in North America by Kraft Foods and in several European markets by Coca-Cola Enterprises, has started the push in around 30 markets. The campaign includes Minion-branded pouches and POS television and cinema adverts, as well as a limited-edition 'BanApple' variant.

The apple and banana flavour is available in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Romania, Slovenia and Malta.

"We’re immensely proud of this global campaign," said Capri-Sun MD Peter Böck. "It … has enormous potential for driving sales."

Minions is released globally next month.

Capri-Sun is owned by Germany-based Wild.
