Campari opens Canadian office

Campari Canada has opened a head office in Toronto and appointed sales, marketing and distribution personnel.

Last year, the company purchased Forty Creek Distillery and announced plans to take its UK and Canadian distribution in-house.

The Grimsby, Ontario-based Forty Creek distillery will continue to serve as the bottling plant and warehouse for the Forty Creek brand, with the addition of more Gruppo Campari brands. It will also continue operating its own on-premise retail store, tours and seminars.

Now that the company is managing its own distribution, the distillery will serve as a central office for Campari Canada for some of its production, HR and finance staff. Meanwhile, the Toronto office will house sales and marketing and further finance staff.

The company has made several appointments, including:

  • Greg Smith, VP of sales
  • Anna Garbagnati, VP of finance
  • Martin Dominguez, HR director
  • Bill Ashburn, VP of production, and
  • Chris Staresinic, VP of marketing

Earlier this month, Campari reported a positive start to 2015 with a rise in Q1 profits and sales.
