Anheuser-Busch's Budweiser brand has been advertised on satellite TV for years but the company has come up with a new and far more innovative use for satellite technology. A ground-breaking World Cup promotion will see tiny transmitters fitted randomly into cans of Budweiser in 25 multi-packs to be sold in stores across the UK.

The purchasers of the lucky cans will literally be tracked down using Global Positioning Satellite technology. Once located they will be offered a trip to the World Cup Finals, being held in the summer in Japan and Korea, to see either England or Ireland play.
