Brasserie de Saint-Omer has undertaken the product recall as a precautionary measure

Brasserie de Saint-Omer has had to recall several of its private label beer brands in the UK, for fear that the bottles may contain small pieces of glass.

The French company confirmed over the weekend that several of its beers from branches of Aldi, Asda, Co-Op, Morrisons and Tesco have been affected by the recall. All of the beers, which are listed in the press release below, have 'best before' dates up to and including 30 September 2013.

Brasserie de Saint-Omer noted that it is taking the action as a precautionary move. The UK's Food Standards Agency said that point-of-sale material will highlight the recall in the affected stores.
