The Boston Beer Co is to launch a Harvest Collection for its Samuel Adams brand.
Featuring six 'craft' beers and including a new style; Samuel Adams Dunkelweizen, the pack offers consumers a selection of beer styles reflective of the autumn season, the company said today (1 September).
"We're constantly experimenting with new styles in the brewhouse to offer a craft beer for every season," said Jim Koch, brewer and founder of Samuel Adams beer. "By offering a seasonal variety pack like the Samuel Adams Harvest Collection, drinkers have the opportunity to taste and enjoy six unique craft beer styles."
Dunkelweizen, which translates to "dark wheat", is designed as a traditional German ale brewed as a darker and stronger version of the Bavarian Weissbier from the 15th century, the brewer said.
The Samuel Adams Harvest Collection Variety Pack is available nationwide, for a suggested retail price of US$13.99-$15.99.
The other five craft beers in the 12-pack collection are: Samuel Adams Boston Lager, Samuel Adams OctoberFest, Samuel Adams Cherry Wheat, Samuel Adams Brown Ale and Samuel Adams Irish Red Ale.
Sectors: Beer & cider
