UK: Blavod Extreme Spirits signs Bruichladdich whisky deal

Blavod Extreme Spirits has become the sole UK distributor for Bruichladdich, the Islay-based Scotch whisky distiller. 

Blavod said today that it has secured exclusive rights to Bruichladdich, a small-scale, independent distiller of single malt Scotch.

Blavod said: "Bruichladdich is an exciting brand with a very distinctive style and packaging which already enjoys wide distribution in quality retail stores. The board believes that there is considerable potential for its development."

Last month, Blavod reported a 45% rise in net sales for its fiscal full-year to the end of March.
