CANADA: Big Rock Brewery appoints vice president sales

Big Rock Brewery Income Trust has announced the appointment of Bill McKenzie to the position of vice president, sales with effect from 2 July.

McKenzie, previously of Diageo and Molson, will bring over 15 years of experience with him to Big Rock, seven of those in senior sales leadership roles, the company said in a statement today  (9 May).

"We are very pleased to have Bill joining Big Rock," said Ed McNally, founder. "His industry experience along with his reputation for building and managing highly effective sales teams is second to none."

McKenzie said it is an "exciting time" for him to be joining the brewery.

"I feel this brewery has unlimited potential and look forward to tapping into it," he said.

Just this year, the Canada-based company has seen the resignation of Ken Barbet as president, CEO and director, the retirement of Lonnie Tate as independent director and the appointment of Michael Kohut as director and board member.
