AUSTRALIA: Berren confident of wine potential

A cyclical low in the Australian wine industry provides the best investment opportunities in five years, according to Barren Asset Management chairman Mike Terlet.

Berren, through the listed International Wine Investment Fund, was the biggest shareholder in BRL Hardy until its takeover by the US Constellation group.

 Terlet said Berren was confident the consolidating international wine industry had outstanding prospects for continued growth despite prevailing sentiment.
