THE NETHERLANDS: Beer consumption falls again

According to figures released by the Dutch central brewing agency, per capita beer consumption in the Netherlands fell in 2001 to 80.5 litres from 82.8 litres in 2000. The total Dutch beer market reached 12.9 million hls in 2001, with beer exports rising to 13.1 million hls from 12.9 million hls in 2000.
