Beam Suntory Inc aims to boost online views of its Cruzan Rum marketing campaign seven-fold this year, as it launches a range of new digital ads.

The five spots, released on YouTube today (19 May), extend Cruzan's "Don't Hurry" campaign, which was viewed 11m times last year. Beam Suntory wants a combined 80m views by the end of 2014.

The campaign will be supported through social media, digital support, public relations and retail extensions, Beam Suntory said. No financial details have been disclosed.

Beam Suntory is the result of Suntory Holding's US$16bn acquisition of Beam Inc, completed last month.
