US: Beam Global unveils Christmas gift sets

Beam Global Spirits & Wine is launching a raft of promotions in time for the Christmas season.

The US spirits and wine company, the drinks arm of Fortune Brands, said this week that it has created a number of gifts and recipes, along with "holiday-themed" packaging, gift sets and glassware.

For Jim Beam Bourbon, the company is offering consumers a gift carton with the purchase of a 750ml bottle. It is also offering a 750ml bottle of Jim Beam with one of three limited edition collectable tin signs and a 750ml bottle of Jim Beam Black with two glasses.

A custom Knob Creek Bourbon label will be available during in-store promotions and online at www.knobcreek.com. The brand is also offering a premium gift tin.

Maker's Mark Bourbon is offering consumers a bottle in a holiday-themed gift box, while Canadian Club Canadian whisky has unveiled a gift box that includes a 750ml bottle of Canadian Club and glass. The brand is also offering a "Damn Right Your Dad Drank It" 2010 calendar mail-in offer, pole toppers, case cards and in-store displays.

Hornitos Tequila is creating "a little Mischieve" gift sets that include either a 750 ml bottle of Hornitos Plata Tequila or Hornitos Reposado Tequila accompanied by a flask and recipes.

Tres Generaciones Tequila is offering a gift set with either a 750ml bottle of Tres Generationes Plata or Tres Generationes Añejo with two martini glasses.

Finally, Courvoisier Cognac is launching a Courvoisier VS gift set which includes a 750ml bottle and flask. The brand is also offering a 750ml bottle of Courvoisier VSOP with glassware. In addition, a 750ml bottle of Courvoisier XO will come with a glass stopper.
