INDIA: Bacardi Apple launches in India
Bacardi-Martini India is to launch Bacardi Apple in Mumbai, before the product is rolled out nationwide.
The company said on Tuesday (30 October) that it has launched the low-carb apple flavoured rum line to "strengthen" its portfolio.
It's the first time an apple-flavored rum has been introduced to India, while the product has been available internationally as Bacardi Big Apple.
Bacardi president and CEO Mahesh Madhavan said: "The flavours category has been moving fast and the introduction of Bacardi Apple further strengthens our growing portfolio. Its enormous popularity across international markets showcases its strength of quality, and it is also low in carbs for those concerned about it."
