American Water Star has announced a delay in filing its annual report. In a statement issued yesterday (19 April), the bottling company blamed continued delays resulting from a recent change in auditor and additional work required to compete its financial statements.

"As a result of AMW's inability to timely file its Form 10-KSB (the form on which annual reports must be submitted), as required by Sections 134 and 1101 of the American Stock Exchange (AMEX) Company Guide, American Water Star is no longer in compliance with the continued listing requirements of the AMEX," the company said yesterday (19 April) in a statement.

"AMEX halted trading of AMW's shares this morning due to its inability to file the 10-KSB. AMW is in discussions with the staff of AMEX to rectify this matter."
