Thomas Gillespie, president and chief executive officer of Aqua Vie Beverage Corporation (OTC Bulletin Board: AVBC), announced today that the company has reached an agreement in principle with Rokeach, one of the nation's oldest and most established provisioners of specialty Kosher products to distribute Aqua Vie to its more than 700 accounts throughout the New York metropolitan area. From its humble beginnings in 1870 as a purveyor of Kosher soaps, Rokeach has grown to a multimillion dollar operation with a dedicated fleet of trucks delivering Kosher products to over 700 accounts in the New York area, including Pathmark, Waldbaum's, Rite-Aid and Costco. Rokeach intends to guarantee delivery of Aqua Vie to its customers within 24 hours of receipt of an order. Rokeach also has cooperative distribution agreements nationwide. Shipments under this agreement will commence next month.

"We have always considered the Kosher designation a significant qualifier, and we are delighted to form this association with Rokeach, a well-respected and trusted name that will afford Aqua Vie extraordinary and unparalleled access to a ready Kosher marketplace," said Gillespie. "Rokeach is equally enthusiastic about the potential represented in this alliance, which is not at all confined to the New York area, and we look forward to capitalizing on pent-up demand," he said.
