THAILAND: APB doubles production capacity

Thai Asia Pacific Brewery has expanded its brewing capacity for the second time in three years. The expansion, which has cost 2.9 billion Thai Baht (US$74.3m), has seen the capacity of the brewer grow to 2m hectolitres.

TAPB, an associate company of Asia Pacific Breweries, produces and markets Heineken lager in Thailand. The company claims that the expansion makes it the largest producer of Heineken beer in Asia and the Pacific.

Asia Pacific Brewers is part-owned by Heineken.
