The world's number one brewer Anheuser-Busch is reportedly in talks with yet another Chinese brewer. Jinan Brewery, a small Shandong-based brewery, said today that it is in negotiations with A-B over a possible partnership.

The talks apparently include a possible stake sale.

Jinan Brewery has told journalists it wants a foreign tie-up and has had talks with A-B.

"If the talks proceed, we won't rule out selling all our controlling shares," said the vice mayor of Jinan city, Wang Tianyi.

Jinan Brewery has annual production of 200,000 tonnes and is 50% controlled by the cit government.
