UK: Anheuser-Busch InBev unveils Stella Artois Cidre TV ad

Anheuser-Busch Inbev is set to back its Stella Artois Cidre brand in the UK with a television and cinema advert.

The brewer, which launched the cider extension in the UK just over two years ago, said earlier this week that a new ad, directed by Wim Wenders, will air in the UK only throughout the Summer. The ad forms the basis for a new campaign, entitled 'The Simple Life'.

A 30- and 40-second slot will appear across television spots until August, with a 60-second spot, which can be viewed above, set to run in cinemas including Odeon, VUE, Cineworld and Picturehouse.

Financial details behind the brand investment were not disclosed.

Earlier this month, A-B InBev expanded Stella Artois Cidre into the US.
