BRAZIL: AmBev renews share buy back

Companhia de Bebidas das Americas (AmBev), the world's fourth largest brewer and Brazil's leading beverage company, announced today that its board of directors has renewed its buyback program of common and preferred shares of AmBev. The programme was first announced on 7th November 2001, and the remaining amount of the scheme amounts to R$230m .
