Allied Domecq has extended the availability of its super-premium brand Classic 12 by Canadian Club. The brand is now available at retail in 15 additional markets across the US.
 
Over the past 12 months, consumption of super-premium Canadian Whiskies increased by 6.5%, according to A.C. Nielsen data. Canadian Club consumption is growing at 9.6% over the past 26 weeks.
 
"Classic 12 is ideally positioned to capitalise on this consumer trend," said Dan Tullio, brand heritage director, Canadian Club.  "It is elegantly packaged for classy, sophisticated whisky drinkers looking to celebrate success, reward themselves or aspire to something new.  We have taken our time with Classic 12, and are very proud of the product we've produced."
