-Appoints new Mid West Regional Manager -
Dallas, TX (April 9, 2009) – Serralles USA has wasted no-time in ramping up its aggressive US re-launch of Don Q Rums by naming another industry veteran, John Meisler Mid West Regional Manager. This appointment follows the addition of a Northeast Division Manager as well as a West Coast Regional Manager. John will be responsible for overseeing all sales and distributor relations in all key states throughout the Midwest including major metros such as Chicago. John brings two decades worth of industry experience with a unique blend of sales, brand education, operations and training which will play a key role in Don Q Rums defining its place in the category.
Most recently, John was Vice President, Director of Sales Training and Global Brand Education at Beam Global Spirits and Wine where he led a team of fourteen as they acquired new brands to continue and expand in the marketplace. In this critical role of educating team and department leaders, John also developed programs to better ensure pricing and programming as well as sales training workshops and IT seminars. Prior to ascending to this role, John created all online brand education as well as mixology seminars, global lecture series and trainings which included appearances on the Food Network. He also supported the company’s Ambassador Network with training as well as internal communications of all employees including brand presentations, collateral, multi-media and an interactive communications portal connecting all employees with this data 24/7. Before becoming the in-house training czar, John managed over 5 divisions, overseeing their sales training, brand education, etc. When John joined Beam Global, he came in as LA State Manager and oversaw all distributor relations, sales, pricing, programming, and key account management. John began his career as a Sales Manager for Glaziers in LA where he quickly rose to becoming a sales manager. John holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Science from Tulane University and has numerous industry awards and accolades for sales, training seminars, mixology and brand education. John is also Executive Board Member, Treasurer of the Master Accreditation Program, United States Bartending Guild.
