BELGIUM: CEPS attacks EU excise hike plan

The European Spirits Organisation, CEPS, has voiced its displeasure at the European Commission’s plans to up alcohol excise duty. The Commission has proposed an increase of the minimum rates of excise duty applied to alcohol and alcoholic beverages by 31%.
