JAPAN: Kirin to expand soft drinks, silent on Cadbury Schweppes

Kirin, the Japanese drinks firm, has said it intends to expand its soft drinks division overseas, but declined to comment on speculation that it has shown interest in Cadbury Schweppes' Australian drinks arm.
