A shortage of sugar in Zimbabwe has led to a soft drink drought in the country, according to local sources, exacerbated by the increased demand of the festive season. The country's Herald newspaper reported on a survey it conducted that showed that only a few supermarkets had soft drinks. Many could were able only to stock Coca-Cola in others customers were being rationed to two sales each.
