We've had quite a response to our coverage of Barclays 'Back-to-School' consumer conference, which ran over two days last week in Boston.

Among the stories that got just-drinks' wires buzzing included Boston Beer's claims that “craft beer is the new wine”, Coca-Cola Co's belief that global population projections for the future are “great for our products” and Molson Coors' warning that the recovery for the world's brewers is set to be "slow and gradual".

It was also interview-week on just-drinks last week. First up, on Monday, we spoke with the team heading up the international division of Pernod Ricard's Olmeca Tequila brand in Mexico. Then, as the week drew to a close, we quizzed PepsiCo's senior vice president of global health policy on the health issues piling up in PepsiCo's – and every other soft drinks firm's – in-trays.

Finally, with our apologies for the initial teething problems, we are happy to say that September's management briefing is fully available now. Click here to see the contents of this month's four-part report.

Until next time...
