The big news last week came from Mexico, where Anheuser-Busch InBev was toasting the decision of an arbitration panel in its dispute with Grupo Modelo in the country.

With the outbreak of peace between the two, the battle-lines are now drawn in Mexico's beer industry. In the red corner is market-leader Modelo with its heavyweight backer, A-B InBev. Meanwhile, in the blue (green?) corner, it's FEMSA Cerveza and Heineken.

Finally, don't forget our management briefing this month looks at the opportunities available in the BRICM markets for all drinks producers.

Until next time...
